What Is a VORT?
The Vehicle On Road Test (VORT) is South Australia's practical driving exam. It takes around 45 minutes with an Authorised Examiner, and it determines whether you can drive safely and lawfully enough to hold a provisional licence.

The test has two parts.
Part 1: The general drive
Your everyday driving, in real traffic:
Lane Changes
Traffic Lights — turning and proceeding straight ahead
School zones and the road rules that apply in them
Roundabouts
Stop and give-way signs
Sharing the road safely with other road users
Part 2: Five slow speed manoeuvres
You must perform all five:

THE PROCESS
How VORT Prep Classes Work
My job as your instructor is to get you to be VORT-ready before you attempt the test.
I organise the booking
Your VORT is booked with an independent Authorised Examiner. You don't need to find one, compare them or work out the process.
You use my car
Full use of the automatic Subaru Forester for the duration of the test. It's dual-control fitted, carries a 5-star ANCAP rating, and it's the car you've been learning in. No adjusting to unfamiliar mirrors, a different biting point or a handbrake in a new place on the one morning it counts.
South Australian road rules
The Authorised Examiner who conducts your test is not me. Your result is an independent assessment of your driving, not a mark awarded by the person you've been paying for lessons.

Hi, I'm Karen
As the Director of Destination Licensed, I hold a Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (TLI41225) and am fully qualified by the South Australian Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).

A successful VORT comes down to proper preparation. I know what Authorised Examiners are evaluating during a Vehicle On-Road Test (VORT). My VORT Preparation lessons focus on improving your familiarity with local roads and complex intersections around VORT testing hubs, refining your driving skills, and coaching you to meet assessment-ready standards in a calm, dual-controlled environment.
